We are pleased to share a successful outcome from Wakulla and Hernando County, Florida, following the recent impact of Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm. The TUSA-designed 8-site P25 Simulcast radio system, recently implemented in the county, demonstrated exceptional resilience during the hurricane.

Despite sustained high winds and extreme weather conditions, the system withstood the storm, continuing to operate reliably when public safety communications were most critical. This success underscores the robust design, engineering, and strategic placement of the simulcast sites, ensuring Wakulla and Hernando County’s first responders were fully equipped with uninterrupted communications throughout the event.

TUSA Consulting Services remains committed to each of our customers by providing resilient and reliable emergency radio communications systems to ensure the safety and security of our public safety partners and citizens. Always remember our primary philosophy “Public Safety Must Be Able to Communicate!”

Thank you to Wakulla and Hernando County for trusting us with your mission-critical communications needs.
