TUSA Consulting Services is proud to announce that our very own Julie Heimkes has been elected to the APCO International Commercial Advisory Council (CAC)!
With only 7 positions available and 14 highly qualified applicants, Julie’s election is a testament to her commitment, experience, and outstanding reputation within the public safety community.
Julie shared,
“I am honored to be elected to serve on the CAC for the next four years.”
This isn’t Julie’s first time making an impact on the CAC. Eight years ago, she served on the Council and helped champion meaningful changes, including the introduction of CAC term limits and the creation of the Jack Daniel Award of Distinction—an award named in memory of long-time commercial member Jack Daniel, and the first recognition specifically dedicated to APCO commercial members.
The CAC plays a vital role in bridging communication between APCO staff, the Board, public safety members, and commercial members, ensuring collaboration and innovation continue to thrive.
We are excited to support Julie as she continues her work to strengthen and grow the APCO commercial member community over the next four years.
