TUSA Consulting Services is proud (and still slightly sore from go-karting) to announce the successful completion of our 2025 Annual Business Meeting, held October 27–30, 2025.
This year’s meeting was jam-packed with insight, innovation, and a healthy dose of hilarity. Over the course of the week, our team had the privilege of hearing from several outstanding guest speakers who shared the latest technological trends shaping the future of emergency communications. Our very own Senior LMR Consultants, Rebecca Norwood and Jeff McNally, delivered top-notch presentations that left everyone impressed and inspired. Rounding out the knowledge sessions, Senior 911 Consultant Julie Heimkes brought her trademark expertise (and wit) to the stage with a presentation that had us all nodding in agreement — and occasionally laughing in recognition.
But of course, all work and no play isn’t the TUSA way! Between sessions, the team enjoyed a mouthwatering dinner at Q39 Midtown in Kansas City, where ribs and burnt ends were consumed with the kind of enthusiasm that could rival a BBQ competition.
And speaking of competition — our 3rd Annual TUSA Family Appreciation Night at K1’s Speed Indoor Kart Racing was nothing short of legendary. Laughter filled the track as team members and their families zoomed around corners, chasing glory (and each other). A special shoutout goes to our fearless CEO and Owner, Dean Hart, who generously sponsored the evening — and who, we might add, channeled his inner Wario from Mario Kart while trying to spin everyone out. (We’re still reviewing the footage for any potential “unsportsmanlike conduct and catching Dean’s infamous Wario laugh impersonation”)
From professional growth to friendly rivalry, the 2025 Annual Business Meeting was another shining example of what makes TUSA Consulting Services a one-of-a-kind team — dedicated, driven, and downright fun.
